The sun setting in an orange hue in the distance, the brisk ocean breeze and the sound of seagulls all create the perfect setting for listening to the musicians of Lo-Tide. This southern California duo consisting of Morgan Turpin [guitar, lead vocal] and David Anderson [violin, vocal] creates the ideal easy-listening music for any seaside day through their unique and tasteful originals. Sprinkled with undertones of indie, folk and bedroom pop, they will transport you to the utopia of living in a coming-of-age film.

 

Both college music students, Morgan and David have been inspired to perform music throughout their lives starting with their first professional gig in sixth grade at a local restaurant. Now equipped with the defining sounds of guitar, vocal harmony, ukulele and violin, the duo strives to create music that will make people smile and dance while keeping the audience eager for their next creation.
